Police Commissioner Abdulmajid Ali has authorized his men to shoot on sight any ritual suspect.
OGUN STATE: The recent increase of ritualism in Ogun State Nigeria has prompted the commissioner of police, Abdulmajid Ali, yesterday speaking to press men he said he has ordered his men to shoot on sight any suspect.
While on parading 23 suspected cultists, kidnappers, ritualist and the likes of armed robbers at the command’s headquarters Eleweran, Abeokuta.
Saying that crime rate in the state had become alarming adding that it had become imperative for all stakeholders to wake up to and make the state crime free. So to these effect drastic measures has to be put in place so as to prevent ritual killing.
The CP also disclosed that suspects had been arrested over the killing of 85years old market leader in Ijebu-Ode, Alhaja Elewuju, promising that the suspect who kidnapped a 20 months old boy, Emmanuel Ogundele about 12 days would also be paraded before the law.
