Earlier to day we had an interview section with one of the Nigerian fast growing female artist Rachael Olaniyan (Mz Royal) Young and Beautiful as she stands, she is not just an Artist but also a Model with enchanting smiles and style. So we got chatting and we gathered some exciting stuff about her.
How are you today?
I'm fine.
We would like you to tell us briefly about yourself:
Well, am Rachael Olaniyan am an Artist, and also a Model hail from Ondo State. Idanre Owena LGA base in Lagos (Nigeria),
What inspired you in to music/modeling?
Music has always been a big part of my life. I grew up listening to a variety of songs from r&b, to jazz, Afro pop then later on hip-hop, so I can say that was what inspired me to do music because it played a significant role while growing up.
As for modeling: I've always been drawn to modeling because of my sense of style & my undeniable love for fashion...as a kid I always played dress-up and I guess it just stock, you know what they say old habits die hard...and also I've always idolized Naomi Campbell from when I was younger and my admiration for her drew me into modeling because I'm a person who believes in doing more for what I love.
Recently you dropped a single titled Natural Tell us about it:
Natural as its titled is a song that expresses true feeling of what i love and cherish.
What are the challenges you are facing?
I'll say I the challenges I face are what most female upcoming artist encounter, due to the fact that the industry is dominated by men and they tend to look down on the opposite sex. That's why they are very few ladies in the game. It is quite a hostile environment.
So who do you look up to as your Role-model/Mentor?
I have Rihanna, Tiwa Savage and Seyi-Shay as my role-model
And my mom is my mentor.
Share with us the latest stuff you working on:
I have been working on a new single titled “sisi no go die”. Am doing it for all the beautiful ladies out there. And hoping to shoot my video latest by January because a lot of my fans have been asking. Keep your fingers crossed because when its out its going to get every one wowed.
Message for your fans:
To my fans i will say thanks for been there for me and i will encourage you all never to give up on what you strongly believe in.
