The world without relation to the world within -Part Three of Three
“Paul your life is in your hands, your choices are controlled by your mind, do you believe if I were to come to you looking rich that you could see yourself any other way then where you are now?”
“I am here to show you, that you can control your life, the mind is the only thing between you and your happiness”.
“I cannot help you, I can only guide you. All growth is from within; the error of all ages is mistakenly looking for strength from without. Within is the supply, without is the outlet, the ability to receive is only if this is recognized and accepted for each individual is an outlet of within.
“Once you take control and recognize that your mind is the process from within and actions the process from without. The law of action and reaction obtained, controlled from within your mind, shown without resulting in variety of conditions and experiences”.
Al reaches for a book stuck under his pillow… “Here Paul, I would like to give you this” Al holds out the book toward Paul’s direction.
Paul takes the well used book from Al’s hand.
Paul read the title of the book out loud, “The Greatest Salesman in the world” by Og Mandino.
“I would appreciate it if you would be so kind to read this book, live with the scrolls found within these pages for ten months as it says, and follow what it says to do. Would you do that for me?” Al asks of Paul.
Paul looks down at the book and reads; you can change your life with the priceless wisdom of ten ancient scrolls handed down for thousands of years, he reads this from the front cover of this book.
Paul smiles “You have been so kind to me Al, I promise I have listened to every word you have spoken, and will cherish this book forever and ever. How can I ever repay you?”
“Pay it forward, Paul. Extend what I have shared with you, with others who have fallen dismay”. Al replies.
Al asks Paul once again, “What else do you see”.
Paul says, “I see a very happy man with love for life”
Paul raises, bends over and gives Al a hug. “ I am your friend forever Al, I will be visiting you often” with that Paul walks out of Al’s box home and continues on his way to a better life.
